Batman and Robin #0
Written by: Peter J. Tomasi

DC Comics | comic | 2.99
When someone asks me what the best DC New 52 title is, I say it’s Batman. When someone asks what the best “Bat” title is, I say it’s Batman. If not for the great Batman, Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason‘s excellent work on Batman and Robin might get the recognition it deserves. In Batman and Robin, the focus is on Damian Wayne as Robin and his relationship with his father, Batman. Damian, the strangest and most dangerous pre-teen ever, struggles to live by the rules of the strangest dad ever. The biggest rule: “No Killing”. Shouldn’t be a problem, but Damian was raised by his mom, Talia al Ghul, as an assassin. Is Damian a sleeper agent of some kind? Can Batman accept a Robin who has killed? Will Damian stop harassing the three previous Robins?
DC Comics says: “Damian’s complicated relationship with his mother, Talia al Ghul, takes center stage. Bred to kill and not to care, this is the birth of an assassin!”
