Avengers Academy is my favorite Avengers current title. Christos Gage knows how to write a superhero comic with heart where the stories matter and the characters change and grow. The Academy was part of AVX, but they were mostly victims of the adults’ fighting. The school had to close during the conflict, having to endure the stress of multiple attacks. What do the students do with no teachers and a closed school? It’s a great time to catch up with this beleaguered group of powered teens.
