Rogue vs. Ms. Marvel has been a long-time rivalry. Early in Rogue’s career she ripped away powers and memory from Carol Danvers. Chris Claremont ushered Carol through the ’70s to the ’90s whether she had a title or not. Claremont also wrote Rogue in Uncanny X-Men and he wrote this story setting up problems for both women for years of comics. Christos Gage, one of the best writers currently writing superhero comics, is tying up these threads in the rich continuity of the Marvel Universe. This is a key to Carol’s evolution and transformation into Captain Marvel.
