Who’s ready for an auction?! We are!
Yes, after a long hiatus, we are having another live auction at the shop. When? Monday, September 5th.
Hey, ain’t that Labor Day? Yep, we wanted to have something special for those looking for something to do on the holiday; but don’t worry you folks with plans, we have ya covered. Read on:
Starting tomorrow, Thursday, we will be accepting consignment items at the shop. Items up for our consideration of including must be brought to the shop during the hours Paul is on duty. That would be Mondays and Thursdays from noon to 8:00 PM and this Sunday, August, 21st. NO OTHER TIMES!
We are looking for interesting, desirable items that should easily fetch at least $5 at auction – even during these economic times! This is an absolute auction – all items will be sold as long as they get a bid that meets the minimum bid requirement, which the consignors set. There will be NO RESERVES otherwise. Also, no “Buyer’s Premium”! Everything is up front. Captain Blue Hen will take 20% as its fee for those items that sell and just a one dollar service fee for those that do not.
Back to you folks who have plans that day – we will be accepting absentee bids up until the end of the day, Sunday, September 4th. If you are successful, we will contact you by the end of Tuesday the 6th and expect you to stop in to pick up and pay for your winning lots by the following Saturday. Items up for bid will be available for inspection starting Monday, August 29th.
If you have any questions about the auction, call or stop by on Mondays or Thursdays and ask for Paul.
If you have any questions about the Graphic Novel Rental program, call or stop by when Dave is on duty.
For everything else important and to see a pretty, smiling face, stop by when Kita is working.
For all else, stop by when Joe is on.
