The film is not exactly like the comic, and it lost a little of the (good) silver-agey goofiness that Morrison had put in. However, the same great story (read a review that paraphrased the old tagline for the first movie “You will believe a man can make you cry.”). Almost makes me wish for the same treatment for “The Last Superman Story”.
