“Newark’s Captain Blue Hen Comics is located in a small strip mall right off of the quaint Main Street of Delaware’s prettiest city. It’s a clean, well-organized shop that has been in business since 1981.
The walls are covered in comic-related ephemera that include an impressive collection of autographed celebrity photos as well as original drawings by artist Neil Vokes, a friend of the shop. The inventory is pretty standard outside of dollar bins and value-priced sets, but the shop’s unique charm lies in the careful planning and community-based efforts of current owner Joe Murray.” ~snippet from Geekadelphia.com.
