What We’re Reading This Week: 2/16-2/22

Avengers Academy is one of those sleeper superhero comics. There’s no big characters. No big name creators–yet. Christos Gage has been creeping into the big time for years now. This might be a great book because there’s no Spidey or Wolverine. Gage can make actual changes to these second and third string characters. In this issue we see the comeback of Taskmaster. Gage gave Taskmaster a character-illuminating arc in Avengers Initiative (the series that grew into Avengers Academy), and so I am excited to check out this appearance. You should pick it up too.
