What We’re Reading This Week: 12/8-12/14

IDW Publishing is doing STAR TREK comics right. For one thing, they’ve tapped John Byrne and the Tipton boys to write Trek books. All of these dudes seem to get it. The characters in these books sound like the ones you see on the screen. The Tiptons write this series that tells us what happens between the Star Trek TOS episode, “Space Seed” and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. My favorite bit so far is how much the bad guy, KHAN, admires Captain Kirk, and how much faith Khan has in Kirk.
