This is not just another Thor comic, THOR THE MIGHTY AVENGER is as different a spin on Thor while still being Marvel’s Thor as possible. This is not 616 Thor or Ultimate Thor. This is like if Stan Lee and Jack Kirby were executive producers of a big budget Thor TV show. It really exists in its own universe and has unique sensibilities. This book is funny and quirky and charming with plenty of action. Give it a try.
Marvel are certainly putting out a ramge of Thor comics in the lead up to the Thor 2011 movie.
I wonder if they are overdoing it a bit, though Langridge is good!
