An ‘In Case You Missed It’ Review

Everyone’s favorite nerd stereotype and beloved (?) Simpsons character, The Comic Book Guy, finally gets his own mini-series. The often ignored Bongo Comics have put out what I could consider one of the funniest books I have ever read. I mean it’s funny, laugh out loud funny. The classic Simpsons humor is there, the art is spot on and it is brimming with all of your favorite nerdy references.
Much like an episode of The Simpsons, there are multiple storylines going on at once. Each offers huge laughs as the TCG tries to find fame on the internet by filming various “death scenes” from comics and movies. I don’t want to give too much away, but I can assure that this is really funny book and well worth a look. “Worst comic ever?”… I don’t think so.
