Mark your calendar! THIS Sunday, JULY 4th, we are having our second annual 4th of July Flea Market/Collectibles Show!
Last year’s was a success and we filled the parking lot; but we will not have as many tables this year due to the Co-op deciding for the first time to be open on the 4th. Since it is a Sunday, they will also host their weekly Farmers’ Market. That’s o-kay, because besides tables full of comics, toys, action figures, coins, movies, odd-ball stuff, etc., there will be fresh veggies and fruit, pizza, live musical entertainment, and hippie stuff to check out!
Admission, of course, is FREE! Due to our limited amount of spaces, we had to create a waiting list, but we have a couple of new vendors who signed up early – one is the premiere “toy guy” in the area and another is the “King of CHUD”. Also, the father of the award winning bass player for CUBANE will have their 14 song CDs available for just 5 bucks!!
Captain Blue Hen Comics will be open 9 to 3 during the flea market and expect some special sales!
By the way, have stuff to sell? Comics or toys/action figures, in particular? Bring them with you! Several vendors are buying as well as selling!
Flea Market starts at 9 AM. Break-down will probably start around 2:00 PM. This gives you plenty of time to get ready for your own backyard barbecues. Bring the whole family and friends – there should be something for everyone!
