Free Comic Book Day Update – Parking & More
Our 10th Annual Free Comic Book Day is upon us this Saturday, May 1st. With 1500 or more people expected to attend we’ve made arrangements for additional parking since parking may be limited in front of Captain Blue Hen in Market East Plaza.
Delaware National Bank, across the street from Market East Plaza, is generously allowing us to use their parking lot after 12 noon.
We strongly advise that no one park at the Newark Shopping Center. Do not park up the street at the Newark Shopping Center. They will tow your vehicle.
We expect to collect a figurative ton of food for the Food Bank and raise money for a local library and the Newark Arts Alliance. Already Newark Natural Foods, the Arts Alliance, Hung Gar Kung Fu and Cafe Gelato are participating to make this a larger event.
