Why do cats eat fake plants?
Tim’s Half Price Burger Night: A yummy guilt trip for half the price. Timothy’s Pub in Newark offers half price burgers on Wednesday nights. They are huge and you can get all the trimmings. Last night it was pizza or bust. For the same price as two pizzas we had burgers, a martini, and two beers. I don’t care how much extra pepperoni they boast – they can’t top that!
Forums: a place to rant behind the veil of a keyboard, especially if you like comics. Try the Captain Blue Hen forums on for size! It’s new but growing quickly. Read, post and laugh at the witty bantering of others while helping the CBH community grow. Yes this was a shameless plug.
Filet-o-Fish commercial: A catchy little jingle that annoys most. Either you love it or hate it, but dang, that stupid floppy fish does have a catchy song going for him. I find the filet o fish commercial hilarious – mainly because that fish would be a great addition to my father’s stuffed and mounted collection. Either way, it’s a reminder that its filet o fish time for all the fast food chains, which means spring is right around the corner. (PS, you can buy a Frankie the fish).
Be-Fanning on Facebook: a way to see which of your 457 friends actually read what you post. You can click to become a fan of everything on Facebook! It’s awesomeness. Who doesn’t want that pickle to get more fans than Nickleback? And come on, if you too hate cilantro, join its not-fan fan page! The randomness goes on and on. And (stealing this line from someone else) we all know nothing is true until you announce it to strangers via your Facebook profile. You can “fan” Captain Blue Hen comics too!
