Flamin’ Decrepitudeness Update – Plus Cubane Rocks Newark
I was guilty of not checking my facts and a reader caught me. Evidently, CELL PHONE numbers are NOT going to be made “open season” by the telemarketers shortly. Although that list is being collated, one has to opt IN for telemarketers to have access. Who would do that? Yes, the phone number I gave is correct for the National Do Not Call Registry, but snopes.com has stated that cell phone users should not have to worry about an influx of unwanted texts and calls! CUBANE was snowed out of both shows this weekend – each was to be a full night of their music! Catch them VERY locally at the East End Cafe on 2/27! On a really cool note, one of their followers is currently stationed on the US Naval hospital ship, COMFORT, just off Haiti, and reported that at least one of the OR’s requested a copy of CUBANE‘s album C8H8 and one can hear it being played as you walk by!! There are copies on sale at the shop for just $5.00 – 14 great songs!
