Membership Has its Benefits
Most of you reading this are currently members, but for those of you who are not yet, you need to read this. I promise, it’s worth your time.
Members get first dibs. Did you know at Captain Blue Hen comics every Wednesday when comic come in, are counted and unpacked that it’s our long term members who get first dibs. Their boxes get filled with everything they’ve asked for long before comics make it to the shelf. That’s not just for comics either – variants, trades, toys, statues, etc. – members get first pick.
Members save moolah. Members get discounts on back issues, Paul’s consignments, and Previews. We also have events occasionally throughout the year that may have member only discounts – or in some rare cases – better discounts just for being a member. Who doesn’t enjoy saving a little cash at the end of the day?
Members get prizes. Members are required to empty their box at least once a month. Sometimes if Santa is feeling generous, the members that have upheld there end of the bargain, will find a little something extra in their stocking from the old Captain. This lil’ something something has exclusive sales on almost everything we carry in the store for the member to pick and choose what he wants to spend it on. Last December two lucky winners even found a $25 and $50 gift certificate in their bins! Just for regularly buying their comics.
So really, if your going to spend the money anyway – why not enjoy the perks?
