FESTIVUS! The Holiday For The Rest of Us!
I got a lot of problems with you people!!
I know, it’s the holiday season and we’re supposed to be extra kind, generous and considerate to others. Why not ALL year long? Aren’t there people who have disappointed you this past year? Yeah, me, too. Fortunately, we now have FESTIVUS to vent our grievances!
To help get you in this holiday’s spirit, there will be a box at Captain Blue Hen Comics from Saturday, December 12th through Sunday, December 20th where you may drop off your list of grievances – believe me, you WILL feel better getting them off your chest! AND…you may win a FESTIVUS 2009 drink coolie and a gift certificate!
Stop by the shop and fill out a slip and drop in the box near the shiny aluminum FESTIVUS pole. No purchase is necessary and you may leave more than one if it’s been a particularly rough year. We do ask, however, that your grievances not be personal in nature, do it about “people” in general and have FUN with it! We plan on putting some of the more humorous submissions on this site – anonymous, of course. On Monday, December 21st, we will draw 5 slips at random and reward the submitters with a FESTIVUS drink coolie and a $10.00 Gift Certificate good toward any of Paul’s items (3/4″ green tags) in the shop. Regardless of how many submissions you make, you may only win once. We will call the winners so that they have the coolie in time for their own FESTIVUS party on the official date of the 23rd.
