And, yet, ANOTHER sneak peek for our blog readers
Spanning the world in my never ending quest to bring exciting items into the shop (and maybe make a few bucks), I scored some nice items Sunday that will be in the shop on Monday, October 12th. And, as promised, our blog readers will know about it first!
I wish my finances would have allowed me to win more, but I stayed within my budget and managed to outbid a few other comic book “dealers” in the crowd at an auction.
Here are some highlights: the 1st appearance of Fin Fang Foom in Strange Tales # 89; a number of early Wonder Woman comics, including a copy of Sensation # 99; A bunch of Walt Disney comics, including 18 Uncle Scrooges; two copies of the scarce Space Ghost #1; A copy of Whack #1, the 3-D version with the original glasses still attached; Little Eva, 3-d with glasses; an assortment of Amazing Spider-man, including issue 121, the Death of Gwen Stacy; a complete run of Fantastic Four from 87 – 127; and… and… Fantastic Four # 1 – 16!! One through 16 are “affordable” copies. Actually, #1 is a copy of the Golden record version, but the rest are originals in Fair+ to Very Good condition (#5, the 1st Dr. Doom is a British version – 9P price – and is probably in the lowest condition. Someone removed the non-story page that contained the ad for Amazing Spider-man #1 and Tales of Suspense # 39. By coincidence, I happen to have this page, since I did the exact same thing, decades ago, to a lower grade copy I had at the time! Odd, eh?)
