Only 5 Days until the Mega Sale and Flea Market/Collectibles Show!
Let’s face it, hours before the family barbeque and the fireworks at night, you’re going to be bored to tears. Why not head on down to good ol’ Captain Blue Hen Comics and take advantage of its biggest Sale EVER! PLUS… there’s going to be an outdoor Collectibles Show/Flea Market in the parking lot from 9:00 to 1:00.
The show is practically sold out as this is being typed and promises to be a good one. Mother Nature appears to be smiling on us this weekend, according to “Hurricane” Schwartz, anyway. Naturally, most of the vendors are customers/collectors, so expect lots and lots of comics, cards, toys, action figures, statues, posters, and the like. Paul will be bringing coins, as well. In addition, a few other highlights are: A huge selection of “Originals by Kate” candles, Martial Arts demos, DVD’s and VCR tapes, Craftsman tools, a rug cleaner, a golf ball cleaner (yes, one like those found at each tee on a golf course!), antique books, totes and crates for storage, one of Captain Blue Hen’s original cash registers (own a piece of history! Paul will autograph it), and even a 40 year old set of “hippie door beads” (fits up to a 36″ door opening). Hey! This is a flea market, also, remember! Who knows what else will show up!
Now, regarding the sale – it’s all under wraps, but Joe says it will be a ONE DAY ONLY WHOPPER! Keep tuned to this website!
