(things that have nothing to do with comics)
Star Trek: a scifi experience for everyone.
For those of us who are not Star Trek fans (and went into the movie with limited Star Trek knowledge) the new Star Trek movie will come as a smart move from the franchise. It starts things at a new point, pretty much forgoing any past continuity that Star Trek may of had to stick to, breathing life with new fast paced shiny green screen effects and CGId explosions. The plot had just enough of everything to make the movie not too long and not too nerdy. Big explosions, fast things (spaceships?), love interest (which was totally not what I was expecting), humorous moments, and minus Winona Rider, a great cast! “Yay!” to the first Sci-fi movie I think I’ve ever sat though. I’d say its a 4 or 5 chicken head our of 4 or 5 chicken heads.
The Boardwalk at Night: A place to go on the spur of the moment.
I love nothing more than jumping in the car with nothing more than the clothes on your back and driving to the beach just because you want ice cream. DE is great because you are so near so much entertainment. Since putting me in the city is like putting a blind mouse in a paper bag without a map, I’d much prefer the beach. The shops are always nice to browse through, the saltwater always fun, the environment always perky! I am a pinball and air hockey fanatic (and I promise, my competitive side is just that: competitive)! It’s very Delawarean of me, but a slice of Grottoes pizza and the board walk go hand in hand! The weathers nice, so get in your cars and drive! Solid 5 chicken heads and some thumbs up too!
Munchkin: Kill the Monster, Steal the Treasure, Stab Your Budding in the Back! A card game for nerds making fun of nerds.
Munchkin is a great tabletop card game to play with a roomful of your friends. The game makes fun of DnD (that’s right, I said it, Dungeons and Dragons) as you try to get to level 10 by killing things faster than all of your friends while cheating every which way you can (as the term Munchkin is used in gaming to describe someone who twists and bends the rules to build a bigger better character). I’m not going to explain the whole thing, but it’s fun I promise. I know lots of people that have never played DnD that think it’s a great game, and if you have a nerd genre that you love to make fun of, Munchkin the card game prolly have a version for you (Munchkin Booty, The Good the Bad and the Munchkin, Star Munchkin, and Munchkin Foo are some of the other titles just to give you an idea). Wave your nerd flag high! I won’t tell anyone…. 4 out of 5 chicken heads, mainly because you have to be ok with your inner nerd to think this game is fun.
Grilling! The thing you should use in the outdoors to prepare your food.
Its summertime! Food taste yummier off the grill!!! Just do it! **Please remember: Safety First. Only you can prevent forest fires. And all that what nots.** When done badly, no chicken heads. When done well as much chicken as it wants! Yum! (I’ve never eaten a chicken head, and I will keep it that way so we will nix those for this one)

Jersey beaches make Delaware beaches look like a pile of puke.
While we differ on the severity of our opinions, I agree with Mr. Sorrow: the Jersey shore beats DE beaches hands down.
I’m with Kita on this: one big thing DE beaches have going for them is that they are free!!! I don’t need a tag to get on the beach. I’ve always hated that about NJ!! Plus the lack of medical waste in DE is a plus. All in all, I’ll take the Turks and Caicos but I can’t drive there.
