Walk For Autism

Our friends at Beav’s Comics have organized this event to benefit a worthy cause.

Autism spectrum disorders occur in as many as 1 in 150 births!Autism impacts the normal development of the brain in the areas of social interaction and communication skills. The disorder makes it hard for them to communicate with others and relate to the outside world.

The proceeds raised by the Walk keep Autism Delaware’s education, awareness, advocacy, and direct support services going and growing.

Date: Saturday, April 25th, 2009
Place: Bellevue State Park, Wilmington, DE
Time: Check in and registration starts at 9:30 AM. Walk begins at 11:00 AM
*There will be free crafts, refreshments, music, games, and more!
