Free Comic Book Day Update
Aw Yeah Titans! Franco comes to FCBD!
Tiny Titans, Weirdsville and Patrick the Wolf Boy creator Franco makes his triumphant return to Captain Blue Hen territory for Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 2. A comic artist, writer, and painter, Franco is a contributer to the DC Kids Mega Sampler, a Free Comic Book Day offering featuring Tiny Titans, Billy Batson, and Supergirl: Cosmic Adventures in the 8th Grade. Franco should be familiar to long time CBH customers as he and partner in comic book crime, Art Baltazar, were frequent guests at ACME shows. Franco’s Weirdsville character Tommy was even a mascot for ACME III.
Franco will join Scooby Doo‘s Scott Neely, FCBD iron man Neil Vokes, jazzy Jamar Nicholas, Living Corpse‘s Buz Hasson and Ken Haeser and masterful Mike Manley sketching and signing from noon to 5 pm. In conjunction with the Newark Arts Alliance, Franco and his fellow artists will be leading drawing workshops throughout the day.
