We just scored a second Golden Age collection!
Besides the collection we debuted in the shop just this past Tuesday, we did acquire the other one we were looking at – nobody pays more than us for collections we can use – guess that’s why we ain’t rich!
This collection is more than double the size of the first one, with even more early Superman (inc. 3-D and #100!), lots more Disneys (including Uncle Scrooge 1 – 9, WDCS, DD, etc.), Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig,Tarzan, Westerns (plenty of Roy, Gene) and more. The owner is looking for the rest of the collection which should include a bunch of early Adventure Comics as well as Classics Ill., more Four Colors, lots of War-related, sports-related, etc. Keep checking back.
The second group is not fully processed, yet; but the superhero titles, many of the “Ducks” and some key issues are ready for sale! Come and get’em!
Last minute reminder: CUBANE is opening for national act FOSTERCHILD (with members of FUEL) tonight, 2/19 at J.B. McGinnes in the Basin Road Shopping Center. CUBANE is slated to go on at 9:00.
