- Indian Head Cents!!
Today (Sunday, 2/15) is the last day you can stop by the shop and buy some great old KEY date Indian Head cents. Paul, who has been a numismatist all of his life is parting with a complete set. 36 coins sold on Saturday, but the big keys are still there – including the rare 1877 and rarest of ALL regular issue small cents, the 1909 S Indian head! Again, you may buy immediately at the posted, below guide price, or participate in the eBay auctions that start to end around 10:00 this evening. Find them by searching for seller “CBHCOMICS”.
- One last item:
A reminder that we want to help out our good friend, Rich Gallaher, and his family. Rich was a former member, then employee, then manager, then owner of Captain Blue Hen Comics – Talleyville. Medical issues have hit the Gallaher family hard. On Saturday, Feb. 28th, at the Talleyville Fire Co on Concord Pike, a benefit Beef & Beer night will be held for them. This will feature a buffet, a DJ and dancing, raffles, chinese auctions, a cash bar, and a chance to catch up with old friends. A $25 donation is requested.
