I’m betting that many of our comic book collectors also collect other items – sports and non-sports cards, toys, coins, stamps, lunch boxes, trains, military items, movie memorabilia, and if you are a frequent visitor to the fair City of Newark – parking tickets. I even collected rocks and minerals when I was a kid! (Does that help fill in the picture?)
Is it like a disease? Some pre-disposition? Some quirk that eventually be found among our genes? As in something we have no control over – right? Hey, just looking for some excuse for this pack-rat mentality that drives ours pouses crazy. I believe that one of the first steps toward achieving “normalcy” is admitting there is a problem. So here goes: I have too many coin collections!! There I said it! I admit it! It’s out in the open!
So now what? I’m going to sell off a few! Right now, if you go to Craigslist – Delaware – Collectibles – Thur, Nov 6th, you will see 5 postings with pictures of the following: COMPLETE sets of Mercuary Dimes, Bufflao Nickles, Jefferson Nickels, and two partial Indian Head cents. If interested, ask for Paul at the shop. I have lots of other miscellaneous coins for sale.
