Josh Brolin as Jonah Hex?
As reported in Variety, Josh Brolin (No Country for Old Men, W) may star as Jonah Hex in a movie based on the DC Comics western character. John Albano and Tony DeZuniga created Jonah Hex for Weird Western Tales in the ‘70s. Hex is a former Confederate soldier who has become a bounty hunter wandering the wild American West. His most distinguishing feature, besides his gruff demeanor, is the hideous scarring on his face.
The writer-directors of Crank, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, have turned in a script and will direct the movie.
