Breaking Movie News! Red Sonja! WB takes hard stance on DC Movies!
Red Sonja will be returning to the big screen later next year. Dynamite Entertainment who has the rights to the red hair barbarian, said that they are now scouting filming sites and filming should begin in October. Robert Rodriguez will be producing and first time director, Douglas Aarniokoski, will be directing Rose McGowan as Red Sonja.
Warner Brothers is said to be shaking up the offices that are DC comics. They are talking to DC comics president and top artists about focusing on big name DC Movies and the quality of the content. The whole article can be read here.
There is also word out there that Marvel has finally secured Jon Favreau for the Iron Man sequel. There were reports earlier, that Marvel was slacking and didn’t want to pay Favreau as much as he asked. Well knowing a good think, Marvel went ahead and paid up.
