Belated Memories of a Happy Free Comic Book Day

Once again Captain Blue Hen Comics delivered a big ol’ party for Free Comic Book Day 2008. Well over 1400 attended and with so much going on free comics were just icing on the cake!
The day began looking a little gray but two loyal and true FCBD fans were waiting at the door even before Joe arrived to start setting up.

A kvetch of Blue Hen Booth Monkeys showed up in their FCBD finery and started setting up the outdoor events with practiced precisionBooth Monkeys Assemble

and inside all was readied for the upcoming crowds and festivities. Before we knew it 10 am was upon us and it was time to open.
