Free Comic Book Day & the Newark Arts Alliance
Captain Blue Hen Comics welcomes the Newark Arts Alliance to Market East Plaza and to Free Comic Book Day!
CBH is working in conjunction with the Newark Arts Alliance on May 3rd for our Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) celebration. During FCBD our guest artists will do how-to workshops and talks from noon to 4 at the NAA location. Also the NAA will have a drop-in any time art activity going all day.
“The Newark Arts Alliance is a locally supported cultural non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide the citizens of greater Newark with the opportunity to explore and display their creativity, as well as participate in cultural events that build community. We provide the means to celebrate life through all forms of artistic diversity.”
The Newark Arts Alliance recently celebrated its 15th anniversary and on April 11, the organization will move to its new Market East location right next door to Captain Blue Hen.
