Life Sucks Original Graphic Novel – CBH got a preview copy of this Jessica Abel and Warren Pleece book about a convenience store clerk who gets turned into a vampire. Dave’s wife (not a big fan of vampires) thought that the characters were great, and that it was interesting and funny. [p. 289]

IDW PUBLISHING

Star Trek: Assignment Earth #1 – Remember that episode of the Original Series with Teri Garr and the guy with the cat? Those characters were supposed to spin off into their own TV show. John Byrne writes and draws this series about the show that never was. [p. 298]

Gemini #1 – A new superhero miniseries from Jay Faerber, writer of Dynamo 5 and Noble Causes. [p. 149]

MARVEL COMICS

Sky Doll #1 – Marvel teams with French publisher, Soleil, to bring you this 3-issue miniseries about a cyborg. Highly detailed, stylized art. [p. 4]

Ultimate X-Men #94 – Heroes writer, Aron Coleite and Ultimate Spider-Man artist, Mark Brooks take over as the new creative team. [p. 13]
