DOCTOR WHO #1 – New stories featuring the most recent TV Doctor and his companion, Martha Jones.

JLA CLASSIFIED #53 – The best JLA story in years. Modern yet classic treatment by Roger Stern, John Byrne, and Mark Farmer of the League old and new.

KICK ASS #1 (MR) – Mark Millar uses Marvel’s MAX imprint to the most. John Romita Jr., who teamed with Millar on Wolverine: Enemy of the State, draws this outside of the Marvel U. superhero slobber-knocker.

LIVING CORPSE #2 (MR) – CBH Free Comic Book Day ’08 guests, Buz Hasson & Ken Haeser, have created a zombie story with brains. This Corpse is on the move because he’s on a mission to bring down supernatural evil of all sorts.
