‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ Movie in Theaters on August 15th

blank2.pngStar Wars hits the big screen again as the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars feature film premieres in theaters on August 15th. The Lucasfilm Animation film features state-of-the-art computer animation, and will be followed up with the new Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated television series this fall on the Cartoon Network and TNT. So far Lucasfilm Animation has produced more than 30 thirty-minute episodes of the new Clone Wars series.

Each thirty-minute episode of the TV series will have a self-contained narrative that ties in to the overall Clone Wars saga. The series will include pre-existing characters such as Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padme Amidala, Emperor Palpatine, Count Doku and General Grievous along with brand new characters like Anakin’s padawan, Ahsoka.
