February Collector of the Month- Kita with “Love Hurts in Short Skirts”
February is here and it’s time for our new Collector of the month display. We turned to one of our own for Valentine’s month for a display to make hearts race. Here’s the bio of our resident manga mistress and some background on her collecting habit.
Like a red balloon in a war torn country, a doily on a bowling ball, a daisy growing in a dung heap, or a girl in a comic book shop, Kita is trapped in a cliché she never made. Quick to anger and not one to suffer fools to live, Kita’s known superpowers include the ability to intimidate men three times her size, the inability to be photographed by any means and a “Natural 20 Charismaâ€. Overcoming the life of a country song, Kita was born a mutant with the ability to speak multiple geek dialects. At home neither on land or in the air and with supernatural fear of swimming pools her turn-offs include the Eighties, fruit, cilantro, Johannes Keppler, and two-toed sloth who she claims “if they applied themselves would probably have a third toe by now. Evolution can’t do all the work.†Her turn-ons include the ability to take a punch with a minimum of whining afterward, sugar daddys, and “Any man who knows his way around a icosahedron has my number.â€
Kita’s collection with figurines of intriguingly-clad anime babes is a mystery, wrapped in a riddle, inside an enigma but regardless of its origins has been described by one unidentified male observer as “kinda hot.â€

WHOOOO!!!!!! I proudly pass my torch on to Kita!! What’s next month’s event? Simpsons mania? World Wrestling stars? M.U.S.C.L.E. MEN? Those weird little trinkets you get in gumball machines???? The suspense is killing me. Oh, but while you’re waiting, KITA’S DISPLAY ROCKS!! :) Ok, yeah, thats all.
