More Back Issues: If you didn’t read an earlier blog, Joe just picked up an interesting collection and is offering most of them at only $1.00 each. Look for small runs and sets, also deep-discounted. Paul just bought a collection of 4000+ and has just added more of the key issues to the back issue stock available at the store. Check the boxes on top of the showcase as well as more “primo” issues in the showcases. More trades have been added to the discount shelves and I will be working through the rest of the 4000+ soon. If you have a want list, send it on. Most of these comics are pre - 1990 and are predominantly main stream titles.
Speaking of showcases - Paul has one for sale! Unlike the large ones you see in the store, this would probably more accurately be called a curio cabinet. It stands roughly 6 feet tall and is about 2 feet wide and a foot deep. It has glass on the front and sides with a mirrowed back. Each side has two glass doors that open for easy reach to the glass shelves. There is a light inside at the top and the base and top have an oak wood appearance. Display your items for only $150.00 This is a nice piece and would fit almost any decor. I can deliver within a 20 mile radius of the shop.

Coin Collectors - you missed out - all of those key Lincolns sold on eBay I put up 16 key Lincoln pennies up on eBay recently, and put them on display with a “Buy It Now” price for those who came to the shop. Turns out they sold for MORE than you could have purchased them in person. For example, the key 1914 D was available for $150, but sold for $181 on ebay with the buyer posting a positive feedback saying that it was much better than expected! If any one is interested, I have the rest of the set available for only $150 - it includes 1909 - 2007 complete except for: 09 s vdb, 09 s, 10s, 11 s & d, 12 s & d, 13 s & d, 14 s & d, 15 s & d, 24s & d, 26 s, 31 s - also, no 55 or 72 double die errors). It does include a 1909 vdb, two 1922 d’s (one has a weakish “d”), there is 70 s in the small date spot (not sure) and the proofs from 1975 - 1995. This group along guides at over $150 - you get the rest for free.
