Archie Comics Re-Invents Jughead
Remember earlier this year when Betty and Veronica got the “new look” in the four-part “Bad Boy Trouble”? Now Archie Comics will give Jughead a makeover in another four-part story called “The Matchmakers,” in Jughead Double Digest #139-142.
Artist, Joe Staton (Scooby-Doo, E-Man), is in charge of developing the new look and he illustrates the story. According to the company, once the “Bad Boy Trouble” story saw print, fans supported the new look experiment: “They thought it was fun and interesting to see the characters with a different look, as long as it wasn’t in all of the comics.”
