No Skywalkers in Star Wars TV Show

Star Wars creator George Lucas told the L.A. Times that he has begun work on a live action Star Wars TV series, but “The Skywalkers aren’t in it and it’s about minor characters. It has nothing to do with Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader, or any of those people. It’s completely different. But it’s a good idea, and it’s going to be fun to do.”

In staff writer Geoff Boucher’s “George Lucas planning Star Wars TV series,” the filmmaker discussed the direction of the live-action series, stating that it would focus on supporting characters, hinting that robots like C-3PO and R2-D2 might play a part in the new saga.

  1. Personally I think this will still be a good show. It comes from imagination and all these producers have a great one.
