Eric Bana to Play J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek Villain

Eric Bana, star of Munich and Black Hawk Down, has signed on to portray “Nero,” the villain in the new J.J. Abrams-directed Star Trek film.

Bana will join Leonard Nimoy (elder Spock), Zachary Quinto (younger Spock), Anton Yelchin (Chekov), and Zoe Saldana (Uhuru) in the new Star Trek film, which is set for a Christmas 2008 debut.
