Countdown: Arena #1-4 – Are you a fan of DC’s Elseworlds series? Do you remember Marvel’s Secret Wars? Many of the 52 new worlds in DC’s Multiverse are based on popular Elseworlds mini-series. Different versions of major heroes are abducted and pitted against each other in this four week long series. [p. 61]

Bat Lash #1 – If there is a list of series that fans think deserve a second chance, Bat Lash is near the top. The unusual Western is back with one of the original creators, Sergio Aragones, onboard along with living legend, John Severin. [p. 65]

Legion of Super-Heroes #37 – Jim Shooter was writing this series when he was twelve. He’s probably got a good handle on it. Shooter’s back—is the Legion ready for him? [p. 84]
