Uhura Role Cast In Abrams’ ‘Trek’ Film
J.J. Abrams’ upcoming Star Trek film has cast another role; Zoe Saldana will play Uhura. Saldana, who played the only female pirate in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, is also cast in James Cameron’s Avatar. Only a few other roles have been cast to date. The storyline for the Abrams flick will feature the crew’s early days at Starfleet Academy.
