The Making Comics 50 State Tour
Scott McCloud & Family Wrap Up Year-Long Tour in September
Writer/artist, Scott McCloud (Zot!, Understanding Comics) packed up his family last September to embark on a tour to support his new book, Making Comics. What’s the big deal? McCloud set out to visit all 50 states and a couple of countries. It turned out to be a non-stop road trip that is just about to wind down this September.
Captain Blue Hen Comics hosted the McCloud clan back in March of this year. We were lucky enough to be the Delaware stop on the tour. Whole groups of people–clubs, University of Delaware classes, DCAD students, indie comics creators–were going to attend, but Mother Nature interfered with a snow storm. The folks who bravely ventured out had a great time and the intrepid McClouds were all wonderful guests.
The tour hit Hawaii earlier in August and September 1st sees the McClouds touching down for their final stop in Los Angeles. Read the Official Tour Blog.
