Artist Mike Wieringo dies

Comic artist Mike Wieringo, 44, died of an apparent heart attack Aug. 12, according to Newsarama.com.

Wieringo co-created the super speedster Impulse for DC Comics where he provided art for Flash and Adventures of Superman. In recent years, he was the penciller on Marvel Comics titles, Sensational Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, and 2007â€™s Spider-Man/Fantastic Four.
