Captain Blue Hen Comics & Entertainment

Superstar DC and Wildstorm artist Jim Lee is actually going to be in Delaware on Saturday, August 18. We’re not sure what kind of bet he lost or what pictures exist that would bring him to a dinky state best known for road construction, allergies and tax free shopping but who cares.

He’s not coming to Captain Blue Hen Comics unfortunately but to our neighbor over in Stanton, Comicmania. Comicmania’s owner Bill Woo has an impressive collection of Jim Lee art which he’ll have on display including all of X-Men #1 and All Star Batman & Robin #4 by Lee.

Enough with the chit- chat. What are the details?

Tickets are required for attendance. They are $5 each (limit 2) which is for up to 5 signatures. There is a limit of 500 tickets sold on a 1st come basis and are on sale now. In addition there will be raffles, a sale and refreshments.

Sidewalk Sale at Captain Blue Hen–So will we be twiddling our thumbs at Captain Blue Hen’s when Jim is in town? Nope. Our joint will be jumping with a sidewalk sale and in-store specials as well, so if you’re making the trip to see Jim, then make a day of it and come see us also. More details to come.
