Harry Potter Event at CBH was a Magic Fun-For-All

How much fun was CBH’s Midnight Magic? We had games, costumes, artists, and NO BIG LINES!

Everybody had a great time, and when midnight rolled around, we did what no big chain could do—put a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows in everyone’s hand within TWO MINUTES. CBH had the fastest moving line in 50 states.

It was a great experience that reached across all age groups. We had 9 year-olds holding their own against 18 year-olds in the trivia contest. Special congratulations go to Alex Jackson for being the top winner of Harry Potter Trivia.

What was the biggest accomplishment of the night? Captain Blue Hen raised $750 for the Kirkwood Highway Library renovation fund with book sales and the print raffle.

“J.K. Rowling caught lightning in a bottle and it’s a shame it will probably be quite a while before anything catches the world’s imagination like this again,” said CBH-owner, Joe Murray.
