As you can see Neil Vokes is hard at work on the exclusive set of prints available only to those who purchase Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at everyone’s favorite comic shop, Captain Blue Hen Comics. Click on the picture above to see a larger version of Neil’s preliminary pencils for these three prints that fit together to form a larger triptych.
Neil is tentatively scheduled to appear either Friday night or Saturday day at Captain Blue Hen to sign the prints and more. Buzzboy artist John Gallagher will be on hand from 10 pm to midnight to draw revelers as their favorite witches and wizards.
Print A (Hermione) goes to the first 100 customers who reserve their copy with a $5 deposit before 5 pm on July 20 (supplies are limited as we are only getting 100 copies of the book for opening night)
Print B (Ron) is for all those who attend Midnight Magic on Friday night, July 20 starting at 10 pm until 1 am or for customers who purchase the book during regular store hours on Saturday July 21.
Print C (Harry) goes to customers when they purchase a copy or pick up their pre-ordered copy by August 1 (while supplies last).
Remember $5 from every book sold goes straight to the Kirkwood Highway Public Library Renovation Fund. Help your community. Be the first on your block to get the book. Get cool swag.
And don’t forget to enter to win the cool framed, full-color Harry Potter print valued at over $100. Tickets are $1 apiece with all proceeds again going to the library. Winner need not be present to win and that drawing ends August 1.
