Best Free Comic Book Day Ever
Why was Free Comic Book Day 2007 our biggest and best FCBD event to date? Let us count the ways:
- More than 1500 of you comic-loving folks partied with us on Cinco de Mayo.
- You took home more than 3ooo free comics including Amazing Spider-Man, Umbrella Academy and Unseen Peanuts.
- Five artists drew hundreds of pictures of you and your favorite comics characters.
- You hung out with half a dozen cool characters like Spider-Man and Darth Vader.
- You broke open two stuffed pinatas.
- You brought in hundreds of cans of food for the food bank.
- You helped us raise hundreds of dollars for New Castle County Libraries.
- You helped us raise hundreds of dollars for Operation Comix Relief.
- You adopted at least one dog from CompAnimals Pet Rescue.

YEAH!!! FCBD was awesome! Tons of people, great characters, awesome comics, life was good. I can’t believe it’s come and gone already, and i’m not sure HOW we’ll top this year, but it was great. Anyone else stop by to check it out? Any thoughts? Free Comics!! WHOOOOO!
